Project
The new headquarters of the Ministry of the Armed Forces is located on the Balard site in Paris. Completed in 2015, the project brings together the administrative staffs of the armed forces, previously spread across several sites, within a single complex.

Designed by ANMA, the building is characterized by a long layered façade combining transparent and opaque elements, buildings raised on stilts around patios, and a large inclined roof composed of metal sections. The roof forms a visible element in the Parisian landscape and covers the central operational core of the complex.

The project has a total surface area of 163,000 m² (SHON) and includes office spaces and central command functions.
