    PROGRAM
Leopold Views is the transformation of a former office tower into residential housing on Rue de Genève in Evere, Brussels. Developed between 2014 and 2019 for Matexi, the project reinterprets an existing concrete structure to create contemporary, energy-efficient homes.

The intervention preserves the original structural frame while completely renewing façades, circulation, and interiors. The building is restructured into clear horizontal layers, improving its urban integration and breaking down its scale. Apartments are organized around a central vertical core, offering flexible layouts, generous daylight, and a strong emphasis on comfort, material quality, and spatial fluidity.

Shared amenities include rooftop communal spaces, terraces, a lounge, and extensive bicycle facilities, while the ground level remains open and permeable, connecting the boulevard to a quieter residential street. Landscaping retains existing trees and introduces low-maintenance planting to soften the site.

Cost control, prefabricated timber façades, high insulation performance, photovoltaic panels, and compact design contribute to strong energy efficiency, making Leopold Views a sustainable and accessible residential refurbishment within the Brussels context.
